The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2026 today, November 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM. This is the final opportunity for students to apply for admission into Class 6 and Class 9 in the prestigious Sainik Schools across India.

Prospective candidates must complete their application process on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE, before the deadline. While the application form submission ends today, the window for paying the examination fee remains open until November 10, 2025, at 11:50 PM.

To expand military school education, the government has announced the addition of three new schools to the AISSEE 2026 framework. This expansion provides more options and opportunities for students seeking a disciplined and career-oriented environment.

The newly added Sainik Schools are:

• Yogeshwari Sainik School, Ambajogai, Beed (Maharashtra)
• Vadem Nagar Higher Secondary School, Vasco (Goa)
• Sri SPK Public Senior Secondary School, Namakkal (Tamil Nadu)

Parents and candidates must ensure they meet the following age and academic criteria before applying:

The student must have passed the 5th standard.

The candidate's age must be between 10 and 12 years as of March 31, 2026.

The student must have passed the 8th standard.

The candidate's age must be between 13 and 15 years as of March 31, 2026.

Candidates who haven't applied yet can follow these steps before the 5 PM deadline:

Step 1. Visit the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.

Step 2. Click on the 'New Candidate Registration' link and complete the process using a valid email and mobile number.

Step 3. Log in with your credentials and carefully fill in all required details in the AISSEE 2026 application form.

Step 4. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the specified format and size.

Step 5. Proceed to pay the application fee online using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI.
