RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Notification out for 32438 posts in Level 1, registration begins on January 23

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued a notification for the recruitment of 32,438 posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. This recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies across various departments within the Indian Railways.

The official notification is available on the RRB websites. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from January 23, 2025, to February 22, 2025. The application fee can be paid online from February 23 to 24, 2025. A modification window for corrections in the application form will be available from February 25 to March 6, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet specific educational qualifications and age limits. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria can be found in the official notification. The age limit for these posts is between 18 and 36 years as of January 1, 2025.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of four stages:

• Computer-Based Tests (CBT): The written test will comprise 100 questions and will have a duration of 90 minutes. There will be negative marking, with 1/3 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

• UR/EWS: 40%
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST: 30%

The examination fee is Rs. 500 for all candidates. Out of this, Rs. 400 will be refunded after appearing in the CBT. For PwBD/Female/Transgender/Ex-Servicemen candidates and those belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class (EBC), the fee is Rs. 250, which will also be refunded after the CBT.
