A strategic attempt was vital due to the following marking scheme:

  • Correct Answer: +1 mark
  • Wrong Answer: -⅓ mark (Negative Marking)
  • Unattempted Question: No deduction

The presence of negative marking made accuracy paramount. Experts advise that candidates should focus on attempting questions they are confident about to avoid unnecessary penalties.
