The Rajasthan government has started the admission process for the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2025–26, offering free seats to students from economically weaker sections (EWS) in private schools. Eligible parents can submit applications through the official portal until April 7, 2025.

Under the RTE Act, 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for EWS category students. Admissions will be granted through a lottery system, scheduled for April 9, based on seat availability and parental preferences.

After the lottery results, selected candidates must confirm admission at one of their five preferred schools. Private schools will verify submitted documents by August 21, followed by the release of the final merit list. If seats remain vacant due to uncompleted admissions, a second selection list will be announced.

Eligibility Criteria

• Children aged 6–7 years (as of July 31, 2025) are eligible for Class I admission.
• Only first-time applicants can apply; unsuccessful candidates cannot reapply in subsequent years.
