The Rajasthan Police has released an official notification for the recruitment of 8,148 Constables across various categories, including General, Driver, and Band positions. Candidates who have successfully cleared the Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)-2024 can submit their applications online through the official website police.rajasthan.gov.in.
Important Dates
The online application process will commence on April 28, 2025, and conclude on May 17, 2025. Candidates will also have a correction window from April 18 to April 20, 2025, to rectify any errors in their submitted forms.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the CET (Senior Secondary Level)-2024 if they belong to the General, EWS, OBC, or MBC categories. For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required score is 35%.
In terms of educational qualifications, applicants must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. This recruitment drive covers multiple roles, including Constables in General Duty, Intelligence, RAC/MBC, Driver, Band, Mounted, and Dog Squad units.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages to ensure a thorough evaluation of candidates. The first stage will be a written examination, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
Candidates applying for specialized roles, such as Band or Driver, will also undergo a Proficiency Test. Finally, shortlisted candidates will have to clear a medical examination before the final appointment.
A merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the written test and proficiency test, where applicable. The final selection will be made in accordance with the vacancies available in different units.
Application Fee
The application fee varies depending on the candidate's category.
General, OBC (Creamy Layer), and out-of-state applicants are required to pay Rs. 600, while OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, SC, ST, TSP, and Sahariya candidates from Rajasthan need to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 400.
