The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has begun the application process for the recruitment of 53,749 Group D (Class IV) positions today, March 21, 2025. Aspiring candidates can submit their applications through the official portals, rssb.rajasthan.gov.in and sso.rajasthan.gov.in, until April 19, 2025.

The total number of vacancies has been increased from 52,453 to 53,749, with an addition of 668 posts. According to the revised notification, 48,199 posts are allocated for non-TSP (Tribal Sub-Plan) areas, while 5,550 posts are reserved for TSP areas. This marks an increase of 640 non-TSP and 28 TSP positions compared to the earlier announcement.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years (as of 1st January 2026) are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:
  • 5 years for men belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Backward Class (BC), Very Backward Class (VBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of Rajasthan.
  • 10 years for women from the aforementioned categories.
  • 5 years for unreserved category women.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the 10th standard.

Application Process

Candidates are required to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process and pay the applicable fee:

  • General and OBC/VBC candidates: Rs. 600
  • EWS/SC/ST candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Rs. 400

Additionally, applicants must upload a recent photograph (not older than one month) while filling out the application form.

The Rajasthan Class IV Recruitment Exam is scheduled to be held from 18th to 21st September 2025. The exam will consist of 120 questions, divided into four sections:

  • General Hindi: 30 questions
  • General English: 15 questions
  • General Knowledge: 50 questions (including Rajasthan-specific topics)
  • General Mathematics: 25 questions

The exam will be conducted for a total of 200 marks, with a duration of two hours. A negative marking scheme will be implemented, deducting one-third of the marks for each incorrect answer.
