Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Applications for 1746 Constable Posts to Begin on Feb 21

The Punjab Police has announced recruitment for 1746 Constable vacancies in the District Police Cadre and Armed Police Cadre. The application process will begin on 21 February 2025, and interested candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board or university. Ex-servicemen need at least matriculation. Additionally, candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject or an equivalent qualification approved by the Punjab government.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 18 to 28 years as of the specified date. Age relaxation will be provided according to government rules.

Nationality

Only Indian citizens can apply. Those with permanent residency or citizenship in another country are not eligible.

Physical Standards

Candidates must meet minimum height requirements:

• Male candidates: 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm)
• Female candidates: 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm)
