The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the admit cards for the upcoming Class 10 Board Examinations, 2026. This document is mandatory for all students to gain entry to their designated examination centres.

The board has confirmed that the PSEB Matriculation exams will commence on March 6, 2026, and conclude on April 1, 2026. All tests will be conducted in traditional pen-and-paper mode at various centres across Punjab.

According to the official PSEB academic calendar, the Class 10 board exams are scheduled from March 6 to April 1, 2026. The exams will be held offline. Students must report to their assigned centre with their hall ticket and valid ID proof. No candidate—regular or private—will be permitted to sit for the exam without this essential document.

How to check the PSEB Class 10 Admit Card 2026?

The board has activated the hall ticket download process on its official portal, pseb.ac.in. The distribution method differs for regular and private candidates:

For Regular Students: Students enrolled in affiliated schools must collect their physical admit cards from their respective school administrations. Direct download by regular students is not available.

For Private Candidates & School Authorities: Private candidates and school officials can download the hall tickets online via the PSEB website.

Essential Details on the Hall Ticket

The PSEB Class 10 Admit Card contains vital information that students must verify carefully:

  • Candidate’s full name and date of birth
  • Roll number and registration number
  • Parents’/guardians’ names
  • School name and school code
  • Examination centre name, address, and code
  • Exam date and day-wise subject schedule with subject codes
  • Important instructions and reporting time

Procedure for Correction in Admit Card

If any discrepancy is found in the student’s name, roll number, or other personal details, immediate action is required. Regular students should contact their school principal or administration without delay. Private candidates must reach out to the PSEB district office or the contact provided on the website. Rectifications should be made well before the exam to prevent entry issues on the test day.

PSEB Class 12 Exam Schedule 2026

In related news, the board has also finalized the schedule for senior secondary exams. The PSEB Class 12 board examinations are set to begin on February 17, 2026, and continue until April 4, 2026. Students of both classes 10 and 12 are advised to collect their admit cards promptly and plan their final revision accordingly.

With the exam dates approaching, educators recommend that students focus on systematic revision of the entire syllabus. It is also prudent to locate and visit the exam centre in advance to gauge travel time and avoid last-minute confusion. Ensure all necessary stationery and the printed hall ticket are ready a day before each exam.
