The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee will release the OJEE 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result today, 12 July 2025, at 5:00 PM. Candidates who applied for courses such as BTech, BArch, BPlan, BCAT and Integrated M.Sc. can check their seat allotment on the official website ojee.nic.in. The allotment is based on the choices filled by candidates during the counselling registration window held from 20 June to 4 July.
Alongside the seat allotment result, the OJEE Board will also release the OJEE 2025 Cutoff, which includes the opening and closing ranks for various colleges and branches. For BTech Computer Science, based on previous years’ data, the Round 1 cutoff rank is expected to range between 1 and 1000 for top colleges like IIT Bhubaneswar, NIT Rourkela and IGIT Sarang. However, this may vary depending on factors like the number of seats, exam difficulty and candidate performance.
Candidates scoring over 400 marks are generally placed in the top 1000 ranks, which improves chances for admission into top-tier institutions. Those with scores between 250 and 300 may fall within the 5000–8000 rank range, suitable for mid-level colleges.
Choice Locking and Seat Confirmation Process
Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat in Round 1 must complete the choice locking process. This involves logging in to the counselling portal using their credentials, confirming the seat, and paying the required seat confirmation fee.
The OJEE counselling portal earlier offered a mock allotment on 1 July to help candidates estimate likely outcomes. Now, with the actual seat allotment released, candidates must take the next steps to secure their admissions.

Online Reporting and Freeze/Float Options Open Till 15 July
All Round 1 allotted candidates must complete online reporting between 12 July and 15 July 2025 (until 11:59 PM). This includes uploading necessary documents, paying the seat acceptance fee, and choosing between the ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ options.
Students who have confirmed their seats but later wish to opt out can withdraw by 18 July 2025. During this time, candidates must also respond to any queries raised during the document verification process. Those who fail to complete these steps within the deadline may risk cancellation of their provisional allotment.
