The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the Winter Bound admit card for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class VI admissions. Candidates registered for the entrance examination can now download their hall tickets through the official website before the examination scheduled in March 2026.

The selection test is conducted annually for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country. The examination determines admission for the academic session 2026–2027 in residential schools operated by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

NVS Class 6 Winter Bound Admit Card 2026

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti issued the Winter Bound admit card on 16 March 2026. Candidates who completed the application process earlier can access the hall ticket using their registration credentials through the official portal.

The admission process started on 30 May 2025 and continued until 27 August 2025. Thousands of students applied for admission through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. The examination provides entry to Class VI in Navodaya schools located across districts in India.

Eligibility and Age Criteria for NVS Class 6 Admission

Students applying for admission must meet the eligibility conditions set by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. These criteria ensure that applicants fall within the prescribed age group and educational requirements.

Candidates must not have been born before 01 May 2014 and after 31 July 2016. Applicants must also have passed the Class V examination from a government or government-recognised school in the district where admission is sought.

Students must also be residents of the district where the respective Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located.
