NIOS date sheet out for classes 10 and 12 practical exams; direct link to download here

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the date sheet for Classes 10 and 12 practical examinations for the March/April 2025 session. Students appearing for the exams can check the schedule on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in. The practical exams for both Secondary and Senior Secondary courses will begin on March 17, 2025, and will take place at designated AIs and examination centres in India and overseas.

The practical examinations will be conducted in different phases for various subjects. The detailed schedule is as follows:

Instructions for Students

• Candidates must download their hall tickets from the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
• Practical exams will be conducted at students' respective study centres unless informed otherwise by the regional centre.
• Practical exams will be held in small batches. Students must contact their exam centre superintendent or AI coordinator in advance to know their exam dates and batch details.
• The number of batches will be determined based on laboratory capacity and will be finalised by the superintendent or AI coordinator.
• Exam results are expected to be announced approximately seven weeks after the last theory exam. The results will be available on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
• Marksheet-cum-certificates and migration-cum-transfer certificates will be distributed to successful candidates through their respective AIs. If an AI is cancelled, documents will be sent via post by the regional centre to the registered address of the candidate.
• The exam dates will remain unchanged under any circumstances.
• Candidates who have paid the examination fee are eligible to appear for practical exams without any additional charges.
• Exam centres must upload students’ practical marks online through the official portal.
