NIFTEE 2025 Stage 1 Result Out for UG and PG Programmes, direct link here

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Stage 1 results of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2025. The results are now available for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Ph.D. programmes, except for the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.) programme, whose result will be released separately.

Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results by visiting the official NIFT portal: exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.

How to Check NIFTEE 2025 Stage 1 Result

Candidates can follow the steps below to view their results:

1. Visit the official NIFT portal: exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT
2. Click on the link labelled ‘NIFTEE 2025 Stage 1 Result’
3. Enter your application number and date of birth
4. Submit the details to view your result
5. Download and save the result for future use

The Stage 1 exam was held on 9 February 2025 across 91 centres in 81 cities throughout India. The mode of examination depended on the specific programme and was either Computer Based Test (CBT) or Paper Based Test (PBT).

The result reflects whether a candidate has been shortlisted for the Stage 2 round based on their performance and the approved seat matrix set by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

Stage 2 Shortlisting and Next Steps

Candidates have been shortlisted for Stage 2 based on their Stage 1 scores. The shortlisting process follows a 1:4 ratio (one seat for every four candidates), category-wise. For Persons with Disabilities (PwD), only those who scored at least 50% of the cut-off marks of their respective category have been shortlisted.

Depending on the programme, candidates will see one of the following status messages on their result page:

• Bachelor of Design (B.Des.): “Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Situation Test”
• Master of Design (M.Des.), Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M.), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.): “Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Personal Interview”
• Bachelor of Design – Lateral Entry (B.Des. NLEA): “Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Studio Test & Interview”
• Bachelor of Fashion Technology – Lateral Entry (B.F.Tech. NLEA): “Shortlisted / Not Shortlisted for Technical Ability Test (TAT) & Interview”

The dates and schedule for the Stage 2 tests, Situation Test, Studio Test, and Personal Interview, will be announced separately on the official website. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NIFT and NTA websites for updates regarding Stage 2.
