November 15, 2025 / 16:39 IST

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the seat allotment result for the stray vacancy round of NEET UG Counselling 2025. This round marks the final stage of admissions under the All India Quota (AIQ), bringing this year’s long counselling process to a close. The allotment list has been uploaded on the official website, mcc.nic.in, and shows the candidates, courses and colleges assigned in this last phase.

This release ends a series of rounds that stretched over months and involved shifting schedules. Many candidates had been waiting for this final update, especially because more than 1,200 seats were still vacant before the round began. With the stray vacancy round now completed, candidates who were trying to secure a place in MBBS or BDS programmes finally have clarity on where they stand.

1,232 AIQ Seats Allotted in Final Round

A total of 1,232 seats under the All India Quota were available when the stray vacancy round opened. This is a higher number than what is usually left at this stage. MCC has now allotted all these seats based on merit and the existing guidelines. The seat allotment list has been issued in PDF format and includes the full list of selected candidates along with their allotted institutions.

For many students who missed out during earlier rounds, this stage served as the last opportunity to get a seat. Since the AIQ seats are always in high demand, the outcome of this round has had a significant impact on the academic plans of several aspirants.

Reporting Deadline

Candidates who have received seats in this round must report to their allotted colleges by 20 November, as per the revised schedule. MCC has also opened a short grievance window for candidates whose names appear in the provisional list. They can report any discrepancy until 12 noon on 15 November. Issues raised after this time will not be considered.

MCC has clearly stated that once the grievance window closes, the provisional list will become final. This limited correction period reflects the need to complete the admission process without further delay.
