NEET PG Counselling 2025

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conclude the online registration and choice-filling process for NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 2 today, December 9, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate medical seats must complete their applications on the official portal, mcc.nic.in, before the deadline.

Simultaneously, MCC has reactivated the Round 1 resignation facility from December 8 to December 10, allowing candidates to vacate seats ahead of the next allotment phase.

Prospective applicants are urged to note the following critical schedule for Round 2:

• Registration & Choice Filling End: December 9, 2025
• Choice Locking: 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM on December 9, 2025
• Seat Allotment Processing: December 10–11, 2025
• Round 2 Result Declaration: December 12, 2025
• Reporting & Joining Period: December 13–21, 2025
• Institute Verification of Joined Candidates: December 22–23, 2025

Candidates can apply by following these steps:

Step 1. Go to the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.

Step 2. Select the ‘NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 2’ link on the homepage.

Step 3. Enter your login credentials on the new page.

Step 4. Complete the application form and pay the required fee.

Step 5. Submit the form and download the confirmation page.

Step 6. Retain a printed copy for future reference.

For candidates wishing to resign from seats allotted in Round 1:

• The online resignation window is open until December 10, 2025.
• Candidates must physically report to their allotted college to vacate the seat.
• The institute is responsible for entering the resignation into the MCC’s intramcc portal. Failure to do so will render the resignation null and void.
• This process is important for freeing seats to be included in Round 2 allotment.

After completing registration and choice locking, candidates should await the Round 2 seat allotment result on December 12, 2025. Successful candidates must then report to their allotted institutes within the stipulated joining period from December 13 to 21, 2025, to secure their admission.
