The NEET PG 2025 admission process has faced delays and controversies this year. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) cancelled the results of 22 candidates for unfair means, while 13 were disqualified for malpractice. Additionally, a data breach affected the personal information of approximately 1.38 lakh aspirants.
The Supreme Court intervened, ensuring that the NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted in a single shift on August 3. Around 2.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, with Pooshan Mohapatra securing the top rank.
Following discussions between the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, updates regarding the counselling timeline have been confirmed.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official MCC website regularly for updates on the counselling schedule and subsequent rounds.
