The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to open the registration window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2025 today, February 18. Once started, aspiring candidates can access the NEET MDS 2025 application form on the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in. The registration process will remain open until March 10, 2025.

The NEET MDS 2025 examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 19, 2025, as a computer-based test spanning three hours. Admit cards for the exam will be made available to registered candidates on April 15, 2025. The entrance test will consist of 240 multiple-choice questions, with four marks awarded for each correct answer and one mark deducted for every incorrect response.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET MDS 2025

To be eligible for NEET MDS 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Complete a mandatory 12-month internship on or before March 31, 2025, as specified by the NBEMS.

  • Online Application Submission: February 18 (3 PM onwards) to March 10, 2025 (till 11:55 PM)
  • Application Edit Window: March 14 to March 17, 2025
  • Final Edit Window for Images (Photograph, Signatures, Thumb Impression): March 27 to March 31, 2025
  • Admit Card Release: April 15, 2025
  • Exam Date: April 19, 2025
  • Result Declaration: By May 19, 2025
Admission to MDS Programs

The NEET MDS 2025 exam serves as the gateway for admission to approximately 6,228 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats across 259 dental colleges in India. These seats are allocated under the 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, and seats in deemed or central universities, ESIC institutions, and private universities.

Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination will be required to participate in the subsequent counseling rounds to secure their admission.
