The Meghalaya Police has announced the cancellation of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for various posts due to technical issues. Candidates who appeared for the test conducted from November 18, 2024 can now check the revised schedule and related updates on the official website, megpolice.gov.in.
Reason for Cancellation of Meghalaya Police PET
The PET conducted at the 1st MLP Battalion, Mawiong, and the 4th MLP Battalion, Sohpian, encountered technical errors, leading to its cancellation. Affected candidates are advised to follow the revised schedule and guidelines issued by the Meghalaya Police.
Revised PET Schedule
The rescheduled PET will be conducted at the following locations and dates:

Admit Card Details
Candidates must verify their information before downloading their admit cards. An online option to edit or correct details will be provided before generating the admit cards.
Candidates requesting a change in their PET date should submit an application to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, before the commencement of the test. Those qualifying the PET, which is evaluated out of 100 marks, will proceed to the written examination and subsequently to the interview round.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 2,968 vacancies for positions including Sub-Inspector, Constable, and other posts. The registration process for these vacancies was conducted from 1 April to 30 April 2024.
