KCET 2025 Counselling Round 1

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the Round 1 counselling for KCET 2025 with the launch of the option entry process. Candidates who qualified in KCET 2025 can now submit their preferences for courses and colleges. The deadline to complete the option entry is July 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

However, as per the latest update from KEA, the option entry portal is temporarily under maintenance and will be available again after 2:00 PM on July 11, 2025. Candidates are advised to log in after that time to complete the process without interruption.

KCET 2025 Round 1 Counselling: Important Date

• Visit the official KEA website.
• Navigate to the UGCET 2025 counselling section.
• Click on the KCET 2025 Option Entry link.
• Log in using your KCET registration number.
• Select your preferred courses and colleges in order of priority.
• Save your selections and click on Final Submission.

Important Notes for Candidates

The option entry portal is currently under scheduled maintenance and is expected to be accessible again after 2:00 PM today (July 11).

Candidates must carefully prioritize their college and course choices as these preferences will be considered during the seat allotment process.

After mock allotment results are released on July 19, students will have the chance to modify their options if needed.

The final Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on July 25, 2025.

Students are advised to complete the option entry process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues and ensure a smooth counselling experience.
