KREIS Class 6 Admission 2025

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the entrance test and online counselling process for admission to class 6 in residential schools for the academic year 2025-26.

Eligibility

Children studying in class 5 are eligible to apply. The annual family income limit for applying varies depending on the category.

The annual family income limit for P. Caste/Scheduled Class is Rs. 5,25,000/-. The annual family income limit for Hin.Varga Varga-1 is also Rs. 5,25,000/-. The annual family income limit for categories 22, 24, 32A, 32B, 36, and 37 is Rs. 5,10,000/-.

Application Process

Parents can apply online from January 11, 2025 (4.00 PM) to January 25, 2025 (11.59 PM) through the websites of residential schools/colleges functioning under the Karnataka Association of Residential Educational Institutions (KREIS). Entrance Test

The KEA will conduct the entrance exam on February 15, 2025. Admit cards for the exam can be downloaded from the KEA and KREIS websites from February 6, 2025.

Documents Required

• SATS number
• Recent photograph
• Original documents related to reservation (or xerox copies)
• School leaving certificate from the school where the candidate is studying class 5 (original or attested copy)

Selection Process

• While applying online, candidates should select the schools in their preferred order.
• Only schools listed in the priority order will be considered for allotment.
• Seats will be allotted through computerized selection based on the entrance test score, reservation category, and the priority order of schools entered by the candidate.
