Jharkhand Board Exam 2025: JAC postpones Class 10 and 12 February 14 exams to March 4 due to Shab-e-Barat

JAC has postponed the Jharkhand Board Class 10 & 12 exams from February 14 to March 4, due to Shab-e-Barat.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced a rescheduling of the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams due to the observance of Shab-e-Barat. Originally set for February 14, these exams will now be conducted on March 4, 2025.

As per the official notification, the Matriculation (Class 10) exams for Kharia, Khortha, Kundmali, and Nagpuri subjects have been deferred to March 4. Likewise, for Intermediate (Class 12) students, the core language exams—Hindi A and English A— have also been shifted to the same date.

Along with the exam postponement, the Jharkhand government has declared a holiday for all schools across the state on February 14 in observance of Shab-e-Barat.

• Matriculation (Class 10) Exams: Kharia, Khortha, Kundmali, and Nagpuri – March 4, 2025
• Intermediate (Class 12) Exams: Hindi A & English A – March 4, 2025
