JEECUP Counselling 2025: Round 2 choice filling begins @jeecup.admissions.nic.in; Register by July 11

JEECUP Counselling 2025 Round 2 choice filling has begun. Eligible candidates can register and fill preferences at jeecup.admissions.nic.in by 11 July 2025 to secure a diploma seat.

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the Round 2 choice filling process for JEECUP Counselling 2025. Candidates can now visit the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in to log in and submit their preferences for diploma courses offered by government and private polytechnic institutes across Uttar Pradesh.

This round is open to those who did not get a seat in the first round, those looking to upgrade their existing seat, and fresh applicants who have cleared JEECUP 2025. The online choice filling window opened on 9 July 2025 and will remain open until 11 July 2025.

How to Fill Choices for JEECUP Round 2

To complete the choice filling process for Round 2, candidates must:

  1. Go to jeecup.admissions.nic.in
  2. Log in using their application number and password
  3. Click on the “Choice Filling for Round 2” tab
  4. Select preferred colleges and diploma courses
  5. Lock their choices and submit

It is important for candidates to select and prioritise options carefully, based on seat availability and previous year cutoffs, to increase the likelihood of getting a seat.

Who Can Participate in Round 2?

  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1
  • Candidates who want to upgrade their seat from Round 1
  • New candidates who qualified JEECUP 2025

Once a candidate accepts a seat in Round 2, any earlier allotment (if applicable) will be cancelled.

Students are advised to follow the instructions given on the website and in the official information bulletin. Any mistakes or delays in the process could lead to disqualification or loss of a seat.
