JEE Main 2025 Toppers Reveal Their Success Strategies
Om Prakash Behera, originally from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and currently studying in Kota, believes that avoiding distractions played a key role in his success. He doesn’t use a mobile phone to stay focused on his studies. Instead, he follows a disciplined preparation plan by emphasizing the NCERT syllabus and regularly reviewing his performance.
After every weekly test, he conducted a self-analysis, identifying his mistakes and ensuring they weren’t repeated in the next test. Now, as he prepares for JEE Advanced 2025, he is studying 8-9 hours daily. Behera aims to secure admission to IIT Bombay and pursue a BTech in Computer Science.
Despite his rigorous preparation, he makes time for reading novels in his free time. His mother, a lecturer, moved to Kota with him three years ago to support his studies, while his father works as an administrative officer in the Odisha government.
Another 100-percentile scorer, Arnav Singh from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, believes in regular hard work and consistency. His success mantra revolves around completing his coaching homework daily, which helps in reinforcing concepts and highlighting areas that need improvement.
According to Singh, clearing doubts immediately strengthens one’s grasp of concepts, making problem-solving easier in exams. He follows a rigorous study schedule, dedicating 10-12 hours a day to preparation. Like Behera, Singh also dreams of joining IIT Bombay to study Computer Science Engineering.
