The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a significant update for candidates appearing in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Due to the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, which has led to travel disruptions, NTA has relocated the exam centres initially assigned to Prayagraj to Varanasi. This change applies to exams scheduled on January 28, 29, and 30, 2025.
Candidates are advised to download their updated admit cards for the exams scheduled on January 28, 29, and 30, from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The admit cards will contain updated details, including the candidate’s name, date of birth, examination date, timings, and the revised exam centre location. NTA had earlier issued admit cards for exams scheduled on January 22, 23, and 24, 2025, on January 18, 2025.
It is essential to ensure that the admit card includes a clear QR code and barcode for verification purposes. Candidates are required to carry a valid photo ID matching the one uploaded during the online application process. The ID should correspond to the details on the admit card for identity verification. Additionally, all candidates must carefully read the instructions provided on the admit card and in the question paper. These instructions include subject-specific guidelines to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
