The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially announced the examination timetable for the upcoming 2025 board exams for Classes 8, 9, and 11. JAC Class 8 Board Exam 2025: Schedule and Pattern
The JAC 8th Board Exam 2025 is set for February 24, 2025, and will be held in two shifts.
First Shift: Hindi, English, and one optional language subject.
Second Shift: Mathematics, Social Science, and Science.
Each subject paper will be for 50 marks. Additionally, an internal assessment of 100 marks will be conducted separately at the school level. Students can download their JAC 8th Admit Card 2025 from the official JAC website starting February 14, 2025.
JAC Class 9 Exam 2025: Dates and Passing Criteria
The JAC 9th Exam 2025 will be held on February 28 and March 1, 2025. Exams will cover five compulsory subjects: Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.
A significant update for students is the JAC 9th Passing Rule 2025. To be declared successful, students must secure passing marks in at least four out of the five subjects. Each theory paper will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), complemented by a 10-mark internal assessment conducted by the school. Admit cards will be available from February 16, 2025.
JAC Class 11 Exam 2025: Timetable and Assessment Details
The JAC 11th Exam 2025 is scheduled from February 25 to 27, 2025. Similar to Class 9, students will be examined in five subjects and must pass in a minimum of four to clear the examination.
The evaluation pattern mirrors that of Class 9, with each subject having a 40-mark MCQ-based theory exam and a 10-mark school/college-level internal assessment. The JAC 11th Admit Card 2025 will also be issued starting February 16, 2025.

The JAC has outlined critical deadlines for internal assessment mark submission. Schools must upload internal assessment marks for all three classes between February 26 and March 10, 2025.
