The Haryana government has announced a one-day closure of all schools—both government and private—on July 26 (Saturday) due to the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-3 posts. The decision was confirmed by State Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda during his visit to Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University in Jind.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is conducting the CET exam on July 26 and 27, leading to heightened security and logistical arrangements. To ensure smooth exam proceedings and minimize disruptions, the government has declared a holiday for all schools on the first day of the test.
