Haryana CET 2025 Notification Out: Registration Begins Tomorrow, Check Eligibility & Other Details

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for CET 2025 to recruit candidates for Group C and D government posts. The application process begins on 28 May and continues till 12 June 2025.

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the official notification for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2025. The notification was published on 27 May 2025 on the commission’s official website, hssc.gov.in. The registration process for the exam will begin on 28 May 2025 and will remain open till 12 June 2025.

The CET is being held for recruitment to various Group C and Group D government posts across Haryana. Candidates applying for the exam are also required to submit the application fee, with the last date for fee payment being 14 June 2025 (till 6 PM). The exam date will be announced later. It is expected to be held in June or July 2025. The exam will be conducted offline (OMR-based), and the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

Eligibility Criteria for Haryana CET 2025

Candidates applying for Group C posts must have passed Class 12 or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognised board. For Group D posts, a Class 10 pass is mandatory. The age limit is between 18 and 42 years. Reserved categories including SC, ST, OBC, unmarried women, widows, and ex-servicemen are eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit. Candidates should carefully read the official notification before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements.

How to Apply for Haryana CET 2025

Candidates must apply online through the HSSC official website. The steps to register are as follows:

  1. Visit hssc.gov.in and click on the ‘Online Registration’ link.
  2. Enter your mobile number and the captcha code, and complete OTP verification.
  3. Fill in your personal and educational details. Upload your photograph and signature.
  4. Pay the application fee
  5. After submitting the form, take a printout for your records.

Haryana CET 2025 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Haryana CET 2025 exam will include 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be no negative marking. The syllabus covers General Awareness, Haryana General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, General Science, Hindi, English, and Computer knowledge.

For the Group C main examination, the subject weightage will be:

  • Haryana GK – 20%
  • Computer – 10%
  • Subject-Specific Knowledge – 70%

The CET score will remain valid for three years. Candidates are allowed to appear for the exam multiple times during this period.

Around 50,000 vacancies are expected to be filled through this recruitment. For the main examination, ten times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted. The exam paper will carry 100 marks, and the duration will be 1 hour and 45 minutes.
