
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will close the registration window for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 today, January 6, 2026. Candidates planning to take admission to engineering, diploma, and pharmacy courses in Gujarat must complete their applications before the deadline.
Earlier, the last date to apply was December 30, 2025, which was later extended. With the registration window closing today, students who have not yet filled the application form are advised to complete the process without delay through the official website. The GUJCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be held in March 2026.
What is GUJCET 2026?
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a state level entrance examination conducted every year by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The exam is held for students seeking admission to undergraduate engineering, diploma, and pharmacy courses in government and private colleges across Gujarat.
During the admission and counselling process, GUJCET scores are considered along with Class 12 marks to decide eligibility. Students who are appearing for the Class 12 examination or have already passed are eligible to apply, provided they meet the required subject and other conditions.
Application fee for GUJCET 2026
To complete the registration process, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 350. The fee can be paid online using net banking, debit card, or credit card. As per the official notice, students can also choose to pay the fee through an SBI bank challan.
