Gauhati University will announce the GUBEDCET 2025 results soon. Once released, candidates who appeared for the B.Ed Common Entrance Test (GUBEDCET 2025) on July 20, 2025, can check their results and merit list on the official website – gauhati.ac.in.

The university has also released a merit list based on candidates' performance in the entrance exam. In case of a tie in scores, the university follows a tie-breaking policy, which considers factors such as the ratio of negative to positive marks, higher marks in specific sections, and the number of unanswered questions.

GUBEDCET 2025 Counselling Process

Qualified candidates will be called for the counselling process, where seat allotment will be based on their merit rank, college preference, and seat availability. Reservation Policy for GUBEDCET 2025

Gauhati University follows a reservation policy for admissions under various categories. Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are allotted 7% of seats, while Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates from plain areas receive 10% and those from hilly regions get 5%. OBC/MOBC candidates have a 15% reservation, and there is 1 seat reserved for physically handicapped candidates. Additionally, 3 seats are allocated for foreign students.

After checking the result, candidates must stay updated with the counselling schedule and prepare the necessary documents for verification. The final admission will be confirmed only after the counselling process and fee payment.
