Important instructions:

  • Retain and Wait option allowed only twice per course
  • Rounds 1 to 4 allow all three options
  • No response leads to automatic rejection of offer
  • Round 5 allows only Accept and Freeze or Reject
  • Rounds 6 to 10 require final decision only
  • Round 10 depends on institute participation after round 9

Several premier institutes participate in COAP counselling every year. These include Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru and major IITs such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Hyderabad. Candidates should monitor updates and complete institute applications separately for admissions.
