GATE Admit Card 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced a slight delay in the release of the GATE 2025 admit cards. Originally scheduled for January 2, 2025, candidates can now expect to download their admit cards starting January 7, 2025. This crucial document, accessible through the official GATE 2025 website (gate2025.iitr.ac.in), is mandatory for entry into the examination hall.
The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam itself will last three hours and will feature 30 different test papers. Candidates have the flexibility to appear for either one or two of these papers, depending on their chosen field of study.
Steps to download GATE 2025 Admit Card:
Step 1. Go to the official GATE 2025 website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2. Look for the "GATE Admit Card 2025" link on the homepage.
Step 3. Click on the link and enter your enrollment ID and password in the designated fields.
Step 4. Click on the "Submit" button. Your admit card will be displayed on the screen. Download it and save it to your device.
Step 5. Take a printout of the downloaded admit card on A4-size paper.
Candidates must remember to bring a printed copy of their admit card along with an original, valid photo identification proof on the day of the exam. It's crucial to note that photocopies or scanned copies of ID cards, as well as expired IDs, will not be accepted.
The GATE score holds significant value for those pursuing higher education or seeking employment in public sector undertakings. The score remains valid for a period of three years from the date of the result announcement.
