Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26

Schools across Delhi are gearing up to release the first list of selected candidates for nursery to class 1 admissions for the 2025-26 academic year on January 17, 2025. This follows a series of draws conducted under the supervision of the Directorate of Education, with representatives present to ensure transparency.

How to Check the Selection List?

Step 1. Visit the official website of the Delhi Education Department: https://www.edudel.nic.in
Step 2. Look for the "Delhi Nursery Admission List 2025" update on the home page.
Step 3. Enter the required details and click on "Search".
Step 4. The list of selected students will be displayed.

A separate list will be released for students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG), and children with disabilities. These categories have 25% of seats reserved for them in private schools.

Selection Process

This year, a large number of students applied for nursery admissions in Delhi, leading to a highly competitive selection process. The ratio of applicants to available seats is approximately 10:1. The DoE considers various factors during the selection process, including marks/points obtained and a lucky draw to ensure fairness.
