The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has already declared a holiday for all central government offices, shops, and industries in Delhi on February 5 to ensure that residents can exercise their right to vote without hindrance. While the holiday applies to government offices and businesses, educational institutions often face a different set of considerations. Schools designated as polling stations typically declare a holiday on Election Day, and in some cases, the day before as well.
