CSIR UGC NET December Result 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 results today, April 17. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their scorecards on the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in.

To download their scorecards, candidates must:

Step 2. Enter their Application Number and Date of Birth

Step 3. Submit the details to view and download the scorecard

Exam Overview: Key Statistics

• Total Registered Candidates: 2,38,451
• Total Appeared Candidates: 1,74,785
• Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Exam Dates: February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025
• Exam Centers: 326 centers across 164 cities

• Chemical Sciences recorded the highest number of test-takers with 39,452 candidates appearing on February 28 (Shift 2).
• Life Sciences followed closely with 37,522 candidates in Shift 1 on March 1.

The NTA will soon announce the CSIR NET December 2024 cut-off marks on its official portal. The cut-off will determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions.

Provisional Answer Keys were released from March 11 to March 14, 2025, allowing candidates to raise objections.The Final Answer Key was prepared after expert review and used for result compilation.

The NTA clarified that no physical scorecards will be sent via post or email. Candidates must download their scorecards from the official website for future reference.
