The National Testing Agency has extended the online application deadline for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) December 2025 session. Candidates can now submit their application forms until 27 October 2025. Those who missed the earlier deadline of 24 October now have one last chance to complete the process.

The CSIR NET is a national level examination that determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), roles such as Assistant Professor, and PhD admissions in various universities and colleges across India. Candidates who fulfil the required eligibility criteria can apply through the official website: csirnet.nta.nic.in. A direct link for the form submission is also provided on the portal for easier access.

Once the application window closes, a correction facility will be available from 27 October to 29 October 2025. During this period, applicants will be able to edit any incorrect information submitted earlier.

Application Process
