Bihar Police Writen Exam Result 2024: The Central Selection Board of Constable Recruitment (CSBC) has officially released the results. This paves the way for the next stage of the selection process - the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The results are available on the CSBC's official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in. The CSBC conducted the written exam to fill 21,391 vacancies for Constable posts across various units within the Bihar Police. These include District Police, Bihar Special Armed Police, and other units within the Constable Cadre.

In the Non-Reserved Category (UR), there are 42,780 vacancies, while the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) has 10,700 openings. The Scheduled Caste (SC) category has 17,000 vacancies, and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category offers 1,140 positions. The Extremely Backward Class (EBC) has 19,210 vacancies, and the Backward Class (BC) category, which includes 56 transgender candidates, has 12,850 openings. Additionally, the Backward Class Women (BCW) category lists 3,275 vacancies. In total, 1,06,955 vacancies are available across all categories.

Candidates who successfully clear the written exam will now have to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The CSBC will release a separate schedule for the PET in the near future.

• Candidates found eligible for the next stage based on the written exam will be required to participate in and pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The provisions and conditions for the PET will be in accordance with advertisement number 01/2023. It is mandatory to follow the instructions and conditions given under the prescribed procedure in the advertisement.
• Information regarding the date, time, and venue of the PET will be published on the Commission's website.
• PET admit cards will be available on the Commission's website https://csbc.bihar.gov.in once the date is finalized. It is clarified that no admit card will be sent by post, and admission to the exam will not be allowed without the admit card.
• It is mandatory for each candidate to participate in the PET on the designated date and time. Failure to do so will result in disqualification, and no second chance will be given. In no circumstances will requests for extension or date change be accepted.
