The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access and download their scorecards from the official website, cmat.nta.nic.in.

The CMAT 2026 examination was conducted successfully on January 25, 2026, in a single shift across 110 test cities in India. The computer-based test (CBT) served as a gateway for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes in participating institutes across the country.

According to the official data released by the NTA, a total of 53,453 candidates registered for the entrance test. Out of these, 41,872 candidates appeared for the exam, resulting in an overall attendance percentage of 78.33%. This year, the candidate pool included 19,905 females, 21,966 males, and one candidate from the third gender category.

How to download CMAT 2026 Scorecard?

Candidates can retrieve their scorecards by following these simple steps. It is important to note that the scorecard is only available online, and no hard copies will be dispatched by the NTA.

Step 1. Visit the official NTA CMAT portal at cmat.nta.nic.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads "CMAT 2026 Scorecard" or "View Result".

Step 3. You will be redirected to a login page. Enter your required credentials, such as Application Number, Date of Birth, and Password.

Step 4. Click the "Submit" or "Login" button.

Step 5. Your CMAT 2026 scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Download the PDF and take a printout for future reference during admission and counselling.

Details Mentioned on the Scorecard

After downloading the scorecard, candidates must carefully verify all the details. The CMAT 2026 scorecard is a comprehensive document that includes :

  • Personal Information: Candidate's name, application number, roll number, date of birth, category, and photograph.
  • Exam Scores: Total score secured by the candidate.
  • Percentile Scores: Overall percentile as well as section-wise percentile for Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
  • All India Rank (AIR): The candidate's rank at the national level.

Maintaining transparency, the NTA released the provisional answer keys shortly after the exam. Candidates were given a window from January 31 to February 2, 2026, to challenge the provisional keys. A panel of subject experts reviewed the challenges, and the final answer key was published on February 17, 2026. The results have been prepared based on this final answer key.

With the results now declared, the next phase of the admission process begins. The CMAT score is accepted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-approved institutions and universities for management programmes.
