CLAT 2026 Registration Begins at consortiumofnlus.ac.in
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially opened the registration portal for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 today, August 1, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs across 24 NLUs and other affiliated institutions can apply online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
The last date to register for CLAT 2026 is October 31, 2025, and the exam is scheduled to be held in offline mode on December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

CLAT 2026 Exam SectionsCLAT UG will include questions from the following five areas:
- English Language
- Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
- Quantitative Techniques (Mathematics)
- Logical Reasoning
- Legal Reasoning
Each section will have comprehension-based MCQs to test analytical, reasoning, and reading skills.
Application Fee
- General / OBC / Other Categories: Rs 4000
- SC / ST / PwD / BPL Candidates: Rs 3500
The fee can be paid online via debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For Undergraduate (UG) Programs:
- Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 45%
- SC/ST: 40%
- Age Limit: No upper age limit.
For Postgraduate (PG) Programs:- Qualification: LL.B. or equivalent degree.
- Minimum Marks:
- General/OBC/PwD/NRI: 50%
- SC/ST: 45%
- Final-year students are also eligible to apply, subject to conditions.
