CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Registration Deadline Extended, Read Official Notice Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension to the registration deadline for the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024. Eligible students can now register until February 8, 2025, while schools will have until February 15, 2025, to verify the applications. The registration process can be completed through the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

This is the second time the deadline has been extended. Earlier, the board had set the deadline for January 10, 2025. The extension provides more time for candidates to apply for the scholarship.

In addition to the fresh application deadline, CBSE has also extended the renewal application deadline for students who were awarded the Single Girl Child Scholarship in 2023. The last date for renewal applications is the same: February 8, 2025, and schools must verify these applications by February 15, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024

The scholarship is open to single girl children who have passed their Class 10 exams in 2024 and are currently enrolled in Class 11 at a CBSE-affiliated school. Successful candidates will receive a monthly financial assistance of Rs 500.
