The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 Result 2025 today, May 13, in the forenoon. A total of 14,96,307 students have passed the exam out of 16,92,794 who appeared, taking the overall pass percentage to 88.39%, which is a slight increase of 0.41% over last year.

This year’s CBSE Class 12 board exams were held from February 15 to April 4, 2025, across 7,330 exam centres with 19,299 schools participating.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: Region-Wise Toppers
Vijayawada recorded the highest regional pass percentage at 99.60%, followed closely by Trivandrum (99.39%), Chennai (97.39%), and Bengaluru (95.95%). Delhi West clocked 95.37% while Delhi East recorded a 95.06% pass rate. The overall Delhi region had a combined pass percentage of 95.18%.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: Foreign Schools & Gender-Wise Performance
Among students from foreign CBSE-affiliated schools, 20,225 appeared and 19,206 passed, registering a high success rate of 95.01%.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: Girls Outshine Boys
Gender-wise, girls continued to outperform boys, with a pass percentage of 91.52% compared to boys at 85.70%. The performance gap between genders stood at 5.94%.
