CAT 2025 Registration Deadline Extended: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has extended the registration deadline for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. Candidates now have until 20 September 2025, 5:00 PM IST to complete their applications. The earlier deadline was 13 September.

CAT is a national-level entrance exam for admission to MBA and other postgraduate management programmes offered by the IIMs and several other business schools across India. This year, the exam will be held on 30 November 2025 in three slots across more than 170 cities.

Candidates who have not yet registered can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in
2. Click on “New Candidate Registration”
3. Enter personal details and verify mobile number via OTP
4. Log in using the credentials received
5. Fill in academic qualifications, work experience, and programme preferences
6. Upload required documents in the specified format
7. Pay the application fee
8. Review all details and submit the application
9. Download and print the confirmation page for future reference

Before starting the registration process, candidates should keep the following scanned documents ready:

• Recent passport-size photograph (white background, scanned)
• Scanned signature (JPEG/JPG format, max 80 KB)
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
• Graduation certificate or provisional certificate
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Proof of work experience (if applicable)
• Valid email ID and mobile number
