The Border Security Force (BSF) has started its recruitment process for the post of Head Constable. Vacancy Breakdown: 1121 Posts

As per the official recruitment notification, the vacancies are distributed between two specialized trades:

• Head Constable (Radio Operator) - RO: 910 Posts
• Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) - RM: 211 Posts

Age Limit: Aspiring candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of September 23, 2025. The BSF will provide age relaxation to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per the Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification: For Head Constable (Radio Operator): Candidates must have passed the 12th (10+2) standard from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

For Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): Candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board and possess a relevant ITI certificate in a trade that qualifies them for practical work in radio and electronic maintenance.

Salary and Benefits
