The Border Security Force (BSF) has declared the results of the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer), and Havaldar (Clerk) posts. A large number of candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
Candidates who appeared for the PST and PET rounds, conducted between March 17, 2025, and June 2, 2025, can now check their results online. The shortlisted candidates will now proceed to take the Computer-Based Written Test (CBT).

Candidates can access their results by following these simple steps:
Step 1. Visit the official BSF recruitment portal: rectt.bsf.gov.in.
Step 2. Look for the notification or link titled "Result of PST/PET for the posts of HC (Mln)/ASI (Steno) & Havaldar (Clerk)".
Step 3. Click on the provided direct link (which would be available on the site).
Step 4. The result will likely be available in PDF format. Use your roll number or name to find your result in the list.

Key Statistics and Shortlisted Candidates
According to the official data, a total of 2,75,567 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the post of ASI Steno/Combatant Steno. For the Head Constable (Ministerial) posts in CAPFs, 8,526 candidates have been shortlisted. Furthermore, 2,67,041 candidates have been shortlisted for the Havaldar Clerk position in the Assam Rifles.
This recruitment initiative was launched with the advertisement number ER/01/2024, published on June 8, 2024. The window for online applications closed on July 8, 2024.
Written Exam and Selection Process
Candidates who have cleared the PST and PET must now prepare for the Computer-Based Written Test (CBT). The admit cards for this crucial exam will be released on the official website in the coming days.
