Bihar Board Matric Exam 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is all set to commence the Matriculation Annual Examination-2025 starting today, Monday. The exams will run until February 25, 2025, with over 15.85 lakh students expected to participate. Among the candidates, 7.67 lakh are male students, while 8.18 lakh are female students. The examination will be conducted across 1,677 centres statewide.

The first day of the examination will focus on the mother tongue subject, which includes Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, and Maithili. The exams will be held in two shifts:

• First Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
• Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM

The board has emphasized strict adherence to timings. The main gate of the examination center will close 30 minutes before the exam begins. For the first shift, students must arrive by 8:30 AM, with admission closing at 9:00 AM. Similarly, for the second shift, entry will start at 1:00 PM and close at 1:30 PM. Latecomers will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.

In Patna alone, 73 examination centers have been established, catering to 71,669 candidates. Additionally, four model examination centers have been set up in each district, including Patna. These centers are equipped with advanced facilities, including CCTV surveillance at the main entrance to ensure transparency and security. Notably, the model centers will be managed entirely by women staff, supported by scouts and police personnel to maintain order.

The Bihar School Examination Committee has issued strict guidelines to ensure the integrity of the examination process. Candidates must arrive at the center one hour before the exam starts. The entrance gate will close 30 minutes prior to the exam, and any candidate attempting to enter after this time will face severe consequences. Forcible entry will be treated as a violation of the committee’s instructions and may result in criminal trespass charges. Such candidates risk being barred from the examination for two years, along with the possibility of an FIR being filed against them.

The examination will conclude on February 25, 2025, with the first shift dedicated to various language subjects under the additional subject group. The second shift will cover subjects like Computer Science, Multimedia, and Web Technology, among others. This structured approach ensures that all subjects are given adequate attention and time.

• Ensure you arrive at the examination center at least one hour before the exam. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
• Double-check that you have your admit card, stationery, and other necessary items before leaving home.
• Avoid last-minute cramming. Focus on staying calm and confident during the exam.
• Adhere to all guidelines provided by the examination center and the board to avoid any complications.
• Parents should encourage their children and help them maintain a positive mindset throughout the examination period.
