In addition to the cash prizes, all top 5 rank holders will also be awarded a laptop, a certificate of merit, and a medal, as per existing norms.

Furthermore, BSEB has increased the amount of the prestigious “Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medha Chhatravriti” (Merit Scholarship) awarded to toppers. Starting this year, the monthly scholarship amount has been raised from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500 for the top 5 rankers in each stream.

This scholarship will be provided as follows:

• For general undergraduate courses: Rs 2,500 per month for 3 years.
• For technical education undergraduate courses: Rs 2,500 per month for 4 years.
• For integrated 5-year courses: Rs 2,500 per month for 5 years.
• For technical diploma courses: Scholarship will continue till the end of the diploma program.

To remain eligible, students must be enrolled and regularly attending classes in a UG program recognized by the State or Central Government.
