BCECE 2025 Registration Opens Today, Apply by May 6 at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in

BCECE 2025 registration starts from 9 April. Candidates can apply online by 6 May for courses in engineering, agriculture, medical, and pharmacy at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The registration process for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) 2025 has officially begun today, April 9, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for various undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and medical streams offered by institutions in Bihar can now register through the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. The last date to apply is May 6, 2025.

The BCECE 2025 examination will take place on June 7 and 8, 2025. The exam will be held in multiple shifts on both days. Candidates are advised to keep track of the examination schedule and prepare accordingly.

Courses Covered Under BCECE 2025

Engineering and Technology

Candidates interested in engineering courses must have appeared for the JEE Main 2025 exam. BCECE 2025 will fill the remaining seats in engineering colleges after the JEE Main counselling rounds are complete. Admissions will be based on merit and the candidate's course preferences. Institutions like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Women’s Institute of Technology (Darbhanga) and Sanjay Gandhi Dairy Technology Institute (Patna) offer programmes such as B.Tech in various disciplines.

Agriculture and Related Courses

Agriculture courses are available at Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour (Bhagalpur). These include Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Horticulture, and Bachelor of Forestry. Seats for these are filled through combined merit lists from the PCM and PCB groups. For specialised courses such as Bachelor of Fisheries Science, only PCB group candidates will be considered.

Medical and Pharmacy Courses

BCECE 2025 also offers admissions into medical and allied health science courses such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelor of Operation Theatre Technology, and B.Sc. Nursing. These are available in both government and private colleges in Bihar. Pharmacy courses are also available at government-recognised pharmacy institutions in the state.

Steps to Register

  1. Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in
  2. Register using your name, mobile number, and email ID
  3. Log in and fill the application form with your personal, academic, and contact details
  4. Upload the required documents – photograph and signature
  5. Pay the application fee as per your category
  6. Submit the completed form and keep a copy for reference

Application Fee

For General, EWS, BC, and EBC candidates:

  • Rs 1,000 for one subject group
  • Rs 1,100 for four subjects (PCM and PCB combined)

For SC, ST, and Divyang (DQ) candidates:
  • Rs 500 for one subject group
  • Rs 550 for four subjects
