"We are confident that the results will be declared much earlier than last year so that students have adequate time to apply for higher studies anywhere in the country."

To achieve this goal, a fast-track schedule is being implemented across 45 evaluation centers in the state. However, officials caution that the announcement might extend to the first half of April, which would still be earlier than the previous year's date.

The HSLC examinations were conducted from February 10 to February 27 at 1,046 centers across Assam. However, the board has clarified that finalizing the results involves more than just compiling marks. Several critical technical steps remain, which require meticulous attention.
