The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started the online registration process for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) 2025. Candidates who are aiming for admission into Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) courses can now apply by visiting the official website cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The last date to submit the application form without paying any late fee is April 7, 2025.
The AP ECET 2025 is organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, on behalf of APSCHE. This entrance exam is mainly for diploma holders and BSc (Mathematics) graduates who wish to continue their higher studies in engineering and pharmacy courses.
According to the official notification, candidates who miss the initial deadline can still apply until April 12 by paying a late fee of Rs 1,000. A second window will remain open until April 17 for those willing to pay a late fee of Rs 2,000. After the registration process is over, APSCHE will allow students to make corrections in their application forms between April 24 and 26, 2025.
The application fee for the exam varies according to the candidate’s category. It is Rs 600 for candidates from the Open Category (OC), Rs 550 for Backward Classes (BC), and Rs 500 for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The fee payment needs to be completed online as part of the registration process.
Steps to Register for AP ECET 2025
Once registered, candidates will be able to download their admit cards from May 1, 2025, using their login credentials. The exam is scheduled for May 6, 2025, and will be conducted in two shifts, one in the morning from 9 am to 12 noon, and another in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm. The exam will be held in a computer-based format (CBT).
