Watch: Woman reverses SUV into Ramada hotel reception lobby in UP’s Bareilly

A woman allegedly crashed her SUV through the glass entrance of a luxury hotel in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, late on Friday.

Guests at the upscale Hotel Ramada in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, were left shocked as the vehicle smashed through the glass entrance, causing panic but, fortunately, no injuries. The entire incident, which took place in the Civil Lines area, was caught on the hotel’s CCTV camera and has since gone viral on social media.

According to a report by TOI, the woman had just finished dinner at the hotel with her husband and was preparing to leave. While reversing the SUV, she accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The car suddenly surged backward at high speed, breaking through the glass doors and crashing into the reception area. The CCTV footage shows guests and staff at the hotel’s entrance scrambling for safety as the vehicle crashed through the front doors.

As per TOI, the eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with shattered glass everywhere and people running in different directions to avoid getting hit. The incident caused significant damage to the hotel’s entrance, though, no one was injured.

The hotel management and staff were quick to respond and helped calm guests who were visibly shaken by the crash. Police are aware of the incident, though no official statement has been released yet. For now, the CCTV footage continues to circulate widely, drawing sharp reactions online and sparking conversations around road safety and responsible driving.
