Residents in Parigi mandal, Vikarabad district, felt tremors early Thursday morning following a 3.1 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake occurred at 3:56 am at a depth of 10 km, Telangana Today reported citing National Centre for Seismology.
The tremors, which were felt for about four seconds, affected areas like Basireddypalle, Rangapur, and Niyamatnagar. Residents, startled by the shaking, reportedly rushed out of their homes and sought safety in open spaces. No damage has been reported.
