Telangana tunnel collapse: One more body found, six more workers remain trapped

The body was reportedly located about 50 metres from the tunnel's tail end, near the conveyor belt. The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed.

The rescue teams on Tuesday discovered another body of a trapped worker in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal tunnel in 'Telangana Nagarkurnool district, marking the second recovery since the tunnel's collapse on February 22 that trapped eight workers.

The body was reportedly  located about 50 metres from the tunnel's tail end, near the conveyor belt.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed. Efforts to locate the remaining six workers are ongoing. The first body recovered was that of Gurpreet Singh, found on March 9, following the tunnel accident that occurred on February 22.
